Accounting Assistant

Position Summary:

HR Solutions is seeking an Accounting Assistant for one of our long-standing local clients.    

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing payments and assembly of supporting documentation for all payments
  • Posts customer payments by receiving and recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
  • Reconcile records with external vendors
  • Search for and enter data accurately into computer system using defined computer programs
  • Investigates questionable data
  • Perform Accounting clerical work such as creating and maintaining company spreadsheets
  • Provide office support as needed
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher in Accounting or Business field preferred, college students working towards a degree in Accounting or Business will be considered
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have excellent organization, time management, and follow up
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound independent judgements
Compensation:
  • $18.00 - $21.00 / hour depending on experience and / or education
  • Excellent benefits offered
