Assistant Accounting Manager
Position Summary:
HR Solutions is seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager for one of our large client companies in the Evansville, IN area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience creating journal entries to maintain subledger to General Ledger balance and General Ledger reconciliations. The candidate will also be responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank and Account Reconciliations, assisting with Month and Year End Closes, and Payroll. This position will also assist Human Resources in Benefit Enrollments / Renewals and Maintenance of Employee Records and other duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Excellent organization and time management
- High attention to detail
- Excellent Computer Skills that include: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must have an Associate’s Degree in accounting (or related field)
- Must have over 2 years accounting experience
- $50,000 / year, depending on experience
- Excellent benefits offered
