Job Description
Position Summary:
HR Solutions is seeking a Corporate Director of Information Technology to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of IT professionals in ensuring that all IT functions are delivered in an efficient and effective way including security, hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of IT professionals and provide oversight, supervision, and management of the team
- Serve as a system administrator and perform security audits
- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems
- Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources
- Conduct threat and risk analysis and analyze the business impact of new and existing systems and technologies to eliminate risk, performance, and capacity issues
- Evaluate, maintain, and enhance sophisticated information systems, and for development and implementation of new systems including hardware, software, network infrastructure, and security applications
- Determine operational objectives and recommend IT solutions by studying business functions; gather information; define requirements and solutions; and coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of these solutions
- Develop and administer the IT Department budget including capital projects; direct the forecast of funds needed for hardware, software, and professional services; direct the monitoring and approval of expenditures; direct and implement adjustments as necessary
- Serve as an IT liaison to all internal office units and external service providers
- Document systems and procedures
- Serve as primary project manager for IT-related projects, overseeing all phases of a project management lifecycle
- Prepare data reports for both internal analysis and open records requests
- Contribute to team efforts by helping accomplish tasks, including hands-on support as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ leadership experience in relevant field
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferable
- Must be organized and have strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage expectations, negotiations, and delivery of resolutions
- Experience building and managing a team
- Up to $125,000 / year plus bonus and incentives depending on experience and certifications
