Global Supply Chain Manager

Job Description
Position Summary:
HR Solutions is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to join our growing client company located in the Evansville, IN area. The ideal candidate must have international supply chain experience.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate the cost of materials and contract manufacturers
- Identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to meet all quality and quantity expectations
- Review, analyze, and clarify quotations from suppliers and develop sound sourcing and business recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical considerations
- Negotiate favorable contracts including parts pricing and costs
- Liaise with suppliers and Engineering to release parts into production and issue POs for prototype parts and prototype / production
- Manage supplier development and timelines, part availability for prototype builds / start of production and develop solutions to delays or problems that arise
- Travel quarterly to visit suppliers to perform business and program reviews as well as develop strong relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in in technical, supply chain, or finance, MBA or Masters preferred
- Must understand electrical systems components
- Product launch experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a passion for results, strategy and hands-on execution
- Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP Systems
- Up to $115,000 / year depending on experience plus bonus
