Job Description
Position Summary:
HR Solutions is looking for a Human Resources Assistant for our large medical client in the Evansville, IN area.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of various HR programs, conduct new hire orientations, maintain HR records, and coordinate recruitment efforts
- Provide appropriate communications to promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives
- Ensure legal compliance with various governmental laws and regulations covering areas such as OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, safety, employment, wage and hour, and workers' compensation
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including managing the sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing process for hourly positions
- Conduct new hire orientations and safety training programs
- Maintain all HR records and files, including I-9 documentation, medical files, and personnel files
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred
- At least 1-2 years of experience in HR administration and high-volume recruiting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
- $18.00 - $25.00 / hour depending on experience
