Position Summary:
HR Solutions is seeking a temp-to-hire Inventory Clerk for one of our long-standing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular inventory counts and ensuring all data is updated in the system.
- Organize and manage stock levels, ensuring products are properly stored and easily accessible.
- Monitor inventory movement and report discrepancies to the management team.
- Process incoming shipments, verify product quantities, and assist with unloading and organizing stock.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
- Assist in managing and organizing the warehouse or stockroom.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, procurement) to ensure inventory needs are met.
- Prepare and conduct audits to confirm inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storage area.
- Help with packaging and preparing products for distribution when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or similar roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large amounts of information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory management software
- $18.00 / Hour
