Quality Assistant Manager - Day Shift

Position Summary:

HR Solutions is seeking a Quality Assistant Manager for a manufacturing company in the Evansville, IN area.

Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise Team Leaders and subordinates
  • Manage department KPIs and enforce safety regulations
  • Ensure all standardized work is done according to company policies
  • Investigate customer complaints and ensure that root causes are identified
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure 5S
  • Ensure all shipments are prepared and ready to ship
  • Ensure quality system is established and maintained
  • Liaison with internal and external customers on quality matters
  • Manage quality control processes and parts inspections
  • Collect and analyze data to mitigate issues
  • Assist in identifying and obtaining necessary resources for the quality system
  • Provide training, education, and development to employees
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and verification of effectiveness
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Previous management or supervisory experience along with quality or compliance required
  • Must have strong organization, effective leadership, and planning
  • Must have Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
Compensation:
  • Up to $70,000 / year with bonus potential
  • Excellent benefits offered
