Position Summary:

True Charity is seeking an Ambassador in the Brunswick, GA area. True Charity exists to lead a nationwide movement of churches and nonprofits committed to effective, dignity-preserving solutions to poverty. Our growing coalition helps organizations move beyond handouts that trap people in dependency to empower people, instead, toward self-sufficiency, creating lasting change in their lives and communities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Builds relationships with key nonprofit, church, and community leaders to promote collaboration and alignment with True Charity principles
• Develops subject matter expertise through True Charity training and resources
• Identifies barriers to movement toward effective charity practices in Southeast Georgia
• Creates awareness among stakeholders identified as primary barriers to change and organizes and delivers local educational opportunities to address them. Examples: book clubs, field trips, discussion groups, speaking engagements, 1:1 meetings, and TC webinar events
• Meets weekly with the national True Charity team to set objectives, align local activities with national objectives, support the recruitment of organizations to the True Charity Network, advance coalition-building, and analyze progress
• Supports and attends the annual True Charity Summit

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Poverty relief experience
• Excellence in oral and written presentation
• Excellence in administration and task management
• Proficiency in internet use, MS Office products, and Google Workspace

Compensation:

• Up to $75,000 / year with depending on experience
• Excellent benefits offered

Position Summary:
HR Solutions is seeking a Surveyor Assistant to join our clients’ team in the Evansville, IN area.

Responsibilities:

• Set up tripods, total stations, and other equipment necessary for making measurements
• Assist with using measuring devices to determine accurate distances and angles on the ground
• Manually or electronically document measurements, field notes, and other relevant information
• Place stakes, pegs, and survey markers in designated areas according to instructions 
• Remove debris, vegetation, and other obstacles to allow for accurate measurements
• Gather and label soil, water, or other samples as needed 
• Load, unload, and keep surveying instruments and equipment in good working condition 
• Help with research into records, maps, and other relevant materials for survey projects
• Work under the supervision of a surveyor, following their guidance and instructions 
• Provide accurate and clear readings and observations to the surveyor 
• Work in varied weather conditions and potentially travel to different job sites
• Following established safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; some college preferred
• Must have at least one year experience assisting a Surveyor
• Understand fundamental concepts of surveying, geography, and landforms

Compensation:

• Hourly wage up to $30.00 depending on experience
